Deleted some of my postings!

Its been long since I've ever entered into this personal space of mine! ):
School work has been too much for me to handle that i felt so much like a walking zombie!
But that aside, when i came in here, I realized that most of my post, in fact my images are like gone and became a dash! )):

So i've deleted the postings.
Okay, gotta go and do all my work!
Will be back to post more!
And update my blog skins too! LOL!

Foodie on the go: Canele at Plaza Singapura

Had my bi-monthly IPL appointment with Caeby!
It's been long since i've ever seen her! =D

After our appointment, we headed for some food!
And settled for Cedele, since its my first time there and on top of that, there's no queue at all! (:

Happen to see that they actually served all day breakfast! So here we go!
Because we are not too hungry, so we decided that we will do some sharing.

First up would be the Fluffy Pancakes (S$10).
We really love how soft and fluffy it is. Comes in 3 thick layers of pancakes, and topped it up with swirls of maple syrup together with some berries. But pity that the berries are really sour!

On a side note, in order for you to order the sides, you will need to order a main dish!
So since we are sharing, we decided to order fries.
Fries are fried to the most crispy and seriously this is one of the better ones i ever had! (:

Whats lunch without having desserts? =P
Both of us ordered macaroons (S$2.50 each) and also ordered a strawberry shortcake (forget to take a picture of it).
There are quite a few flavours available, so we decided to order Rose, Caramel, Hazelnut and Chocolate Noir! They are really good, esp the one in Rose flavour. Strong taste of the bundung syrup taste, and crunchy on the outside! Slurps, I could have them all day!

Total Spending: S$50 for 2 pax

Where to find it:
Canele
68 Orchard Road #01-55
Plaza Singapura
Singapore 238839
Tel: 68372252

Opening Hrs:
10am to 10pm

Verdict:
I would head back again! Best fluffy pancakes I ever had! (:
And would return to try more of their other dishes! (:
And taking away of 6 macaroons at only S$11.50, where do we find such great deal? =D

Banana Chocolate (Chips) Muffins

The very last time I ever baked was to try out Red Velvet Cupcakes!
And it was a failure because the cream cheese was too soft and it literally becomes milk like! LOL!
But oh well, ever since then, I decided not to bake until recently.

This baking feel came back!
So I've decided to bake Banana Chocolate Chips Muffins!

Ingredients Needed:
All Purpose Flour (Plain Flour) - 225g
White Granulated Sugar - 100g
Light Brown Sugar - 55g
Baking Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Baking Soda - 1/2 (Half) Teaspoon
Salt - 1/4 (One-Quarter) Teaspoon
Chocolate Chips - 65g
Bananas - 3 large ripe
Unsalted Butter - 113g
Large Eggs - 2
Vanilla Extract - 1 Teaspoon

Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree C (350 degree F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips
  3. In another bowl, combined the mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Lightly fold the wet ingredients (banana mixture) into the dry ingredients and combined them until the batter is thick and chunky.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffins cups.
  6. Bake for about 20 to 25mins OR until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  7. Place on a wire rack to cool for 5 mins and you are ready to serve!

Nice fluffy banana muffins! =D
And they really tasted good, hahahah!

Go give them a try! (:
