Random

My blog has since become so dead, so I shall update a little.
Soon enough, CNY has come to an end.
All ang baos collected shall be used as savings and also a little for my own pocket money! (:

Apart from all these, I had fallen sick!
Fell sick right after CNY isnt something to be happy about ):
No more tidbits for me, no more happy food to make me fat! Oh well, it may be a good thing.
At least im keeping myself happy! hahah! =D

****

Heres a little backdated pictures! LOL! And i promise more will come by sooon! (:

The boy and I decided to head down to City Hall after work on one of the Friday!
As usual, we always had a hard time deciding what to eat for dinner!
And always, me being the picky one, I always had a hard time thinking what I want for dinner.
So this time round, I've decided to settle down on this Japanese that serves Ramen -- Yomenya Goemon! (:

This wasnt our first time there, and definitely i'll head back for more.
For someone like me who likes sweet stuffs and has this thing for tasty spaghetti, this would be it! (: Okay, I'm not saying they serve sweet spaghetti, but its very different from those you see in western restaurants.

Usually there would be a queue outside their store, but thankfully this time round, we are earlier.
So we didnt have to wait too long for a seat.

 Do you know?
Unlike Western spaghetti, Japanese eat spaghetti with a chopstick!
And they doesnt comes with spoon. So for someone like me, who always uses spoon and chopsticks or spoon and fork, initially I find it a little hard to get use to this way of eating! hahah!

Spot their yummy menus! (:

In case you were wondering, why do I have salad on my table.
Thats because I've ordered their set meals which comes together with a salad and also miso soup.
But this salad has really won my heart. I love their sauce which they didnt add a lot. And somehow it makes the veges all super yummy! (:

Next up would be our dish! (:
This time round, I've gone for a tomato base spaghetti!

Bacon Tomato Carbonara (Name to be advised again)
This tomato based carbonara was fantastic! I like how the sauce is not too watery.
This dish comes with a raw egg on the top, which you are suppose to mix ard with the spaghetti, which makes the noodles much more bouncy and yummy! (:

They are also generous with the bacons which adds extra flavours to the dish! (:

Meanwhile, le boyfriend go for something light -- because he was sick that day! LOL

Cream Gorgonzola (Actual name will be advise again)
According to the boy, this was a little turn down.
So theres nth much to be mentioned abt.

What I like about this restaurant:
They had a variety of Spaghetti for you to choose from -- soupy base, tomato base, cream base.
With the large variety, you are able to enjoy different taste.
Not only that, they also comes in set meals for those who love to try out their desserts. (:
Sitting arrangements wise, it was a little cramp, but overall, its more like a fast food restaurants which people eat and go. So its not recommended for groups who wish to search for places to chill and crap their way thru! (:

What I dislike about this restaurant:
Nil!

Overall Ratings: 9/10
Food Ratings: 8/10 (Bacon Tomato Carbonara) / 5/10 (Cream Gorgonzola)
Pricing: SGD$40 for 2 pax

Feeling sick, feeling groggy!

This feeling is the worse feeling i've ever gotten since million years ago! (Okay not that old)
But having sore throat and half block nose hasnt been looking for me for the past few years.
Now making me feel really terrible )):
At first I was thinking I could have taken MC but thinking abt heading down to sponsored clinics by the company, it turns me down totally.
Oh well, actually I just wish I could be doing something much more meaningful or rather doing something that I always have interest in. Probably it would make my work a much more better experience? Oh well, too much to think abt.
No time no energy!
Gotta get back into blogging once i've gotten all the pictures and once i'm done editing lol! =D

Meet up with Bestie!

Met up with my favourite girls for our usual chit chat session as well as last min shopping for CNY! hahah!
Okay this is a very outdated post LOL!

As Estee already had her meal at home, both YW and I go ahead to search for food to fill out tummies! (:
So we chanced upon this Japanese Food store called Menya Mushashi and we decided to give it a try.

The ramen comes in 3 different kinds of soup base - White Tora (Original) / Black Tora (Garlic Oil)  / Red Tora (Chilli Oil)

Because both of us are having a bad throat on that day so, baby girl decided to go for the Black Tora while I've decided to try their White Tora.

I love their restaurants layout. Ninjas lanterns and Ninja display.
There was quite a number of people that day, however, we didnt have to queue for seats (:

This is what I've ordered - White Shabu Shabu Ramen (SGD$14.90)
The beef was really tender and I love the soup base! Not only that, the portion of the ramen was just nice for one person. And I could amazingly finish the whole bowl without feeling too full (:

Baby girl ordered Black Chashu Ramen. (SGD$12.90)
Soup base for this was a little salty.
However, the cha shu was really good! Will definitely head back for other ramen! (:

Even thou we are not 100% ramen lovers, I do recommend this restaurant!

What I love about this restaurant:
Their designs in the restaurants make me feel as if im in local Japanese Restaurant when I'm in Japan.
They serve their dishes fast enough and are served hot. (:

What I dislike about this restaurant:
Their sitting arrangements are a little too close to each other that you could probably hear what others are talking about. hahah! (:
But apart from that, the service and food are all good!

Overall Ratings: 8/10
Food Ratings: 9/10 (Shabu Shabu Ramen) / 7.5/10 (Cha shu Ramen)
Pricing: Approximately $17 per pax
